Posted 30 March 2020

The WhatHouse? team chooses some of the very best new homes for sale right now across Wales, to suit a range of budgets and requirements...

Our latest round-up of new homes in Wales highlights some exciting housing schemes distributed across the country, with options to suit most budgets.

There are starter homes for prospective first-time buyers, along with the Help to Buy Wales scheme for those who need some financial assistance to get their foot on the housing ladder – and we’ve included a selection of more substantial detached properties for larger families who need more space.

There's a local bilingual primary school, Ysgol Deganwy, and a village centre that's home to restaurants, boutique shops and other useful amenities. Alternative educational options in the area include Ysgol Awel y Mynydd primary school, and three secondary schools.

The town's most iconic feature is its castle, perched above the town, while the regenerated quayside is now home to a marina, and Deganwy shore and promenade form part of a coastal footpath that stretches to the west shore of Llandudno. The countryside around Deganwy is ideal for those who enjoy spending time exploring, walking, cycling and golfing.

When it comes to travel, the town is on the Creuddyn Peninsula near Conwy (two miles away, on the opposite side of the River Conwy), Llandudno (2.4 miles), and Rhos-on-Sea (just under five miles). The nearby A55 Expressway provides access links to Chester, Manchester, London and Holyhead. Deganwy's railway station is on the Llandudno branch line with an hourly train service, available on request, to and from Manchester Piccadilly and intermediate stations.

Prices: Current availability priced from £205,000 for a two-bedroom semi-detached bungalow, up to £425,000 for a four-bedroom detached property.
