With Leeds offering its residents an enviable work-life balance, the city has a huge amount of appeal for many young professionals and families.
It is located right at the heart of the country, for starters, with great transport links by road and rail. There are a couple of new developments in the lovely market town of Morley, about five miles from Leeds, offering a safe, family-friendly commuter base with good schools. The town offers easy access to the M62 and M621, so is perfect for commuters – placing the whole of Yorkshire and the North West within easy reach. Daisy Hill is an exclusive development of two- to four-bedroom properties from Persimmon Homes, priced from £207,950, and situated close to excellent local schools, a good range of amenities, and a regular bus service. Barratt Homes also has a collection of three- and four-bedroom properties at St Andrews View priced from £246,995 to £274,995, offering pleasant, green views over open fields and woodland.
