Kirkcaldy forms part of Fife Coastal Path, providing stunning seaside walks ranging from Newburgh to Kincardine. There are several parks with play equipment and ample green space, ideal for dog-walking and days out with the children. Rosslyn Gait is also a short drive to the East Neuk of Fife, which is home to Tentsmuir Forest and Beach and Elie Beach where you can take part in a range of Water Sports or a day out with family.

There are a range of both Primary and Secondary local authority schools in the surrounding areas of Rosslyn Gait. There is also a Fife college campus (2.3 miles away) for post-secondary and adult learning Kirkcaldy is also ideally situated for commuting to several Universities, including the University of St. Andrews, University of Dundee and the University of Edinburgh.
