Health and Wellbeing

4.6

Since the outbreak of Covid in 2020, the health and quality of life for ourselves and our families has become more of a priority than ever, and one of the fundamental considerations in choosing where we live. There are a host of ingredients in measuring this, and we calculate our Health & Wellbeing rating using many factors.

Transport Links

3.6

Being within easy reach of people and places for work or leisure is a top consideration when choosing your brand new home. Can you commute easily by private or public transport, and are there routes to close by for the places you’ll want to go to? Would it be safe to leave the car at home and cycle somewhere instead? Are there convenient EV charging points in the local area?

Mobile Connectivity

3.3

In our digital world, it’s ever more important to ensure the range and quality of services for phones and other devices can handle daily demands. We calculate our mobile connectivity rating to include the strength and reliability of mobile signals and broadband speeds.

Finance

1.8

Finances are the fundamental thing on which our choice of new home is based, but aside from what you can afford to borrow and the price cap you must consider, there’s the ongoing running costs to consider too, and what may happen to the value of your home before you sell it in the future.

Education and Amenities

4.1

Education and Amenities covers things which are vital to everyday life, whether it’s somewhere to buy groceries and other essentials, a place to enjoy leisure time and for families, an area with schooling which is easy to get to from home
