To enable the town to continue to thrive and compete, in 2008, the then Bournemouth Borough Council’s (now BCP Council) Town Centre Vision identified the value of regenerating currently under-utilised sites in the town centre to deliver new housing, regeneration projects, employment space, and a boost to the local economy.
Bournemouth Development Company is a public-private partnership which is central to the delivery of that vision.
