With hybrid planning secured in 2015, the project has progressed, rapidly delivering low carbon homes and infrastructure. 2020/2021 saw the delivery and opening of the first elements of the new town centre, including the leisure centre, town park and town square, plus the fantastic food/ retail court called ‘the Shed’, a mixed use building of 14,004+ ft2 containing local food producers, cycle store, arts and crafts and incubator space. The partners share an ambition that seeks to transform Whitehill & Bordon into a place where change is visible, the environment is respected, belief and reputation among the community are foremost, and existing and developing strengths of the locality become assets shared for all.
