North East new homes round-up – best of the current new builds

Posted 22 July 2016 by Ben Salisbury

The WhatHouse? team looks at the current range of new build homes available in Yorkshire, the Humber and the north-east of England and selects its top picks.

With the latest data continuing to show that properties in these regions cost less than half the price of property in the south of England and the ramifications from Brexit pointing towards a steeper fall in London and the South than in the North, investors and homeowners are likely to be tempted both by price, potential returns and the quality of build.

The current crop of new homes in Yorkshire, the Humber and the North East showcase the variety of developments available in the property market.

The seven new developments featured here include luxurious large detached properties, studio flats, terraced family homes and property designed specifically for over-55s.
