About Aldridge

Aldridge is a lovely little town in the borough of Walsall, less than 10 miles north of Birmingham. A former agricultural and industrial town, today Aldridge is one of the more affluent areas in the West Midlands and is known for its beautiful 1920s houses.

The adjacent High Street and Anchor Street is where you'll find all of the town's shops, including independent food stores, supermarkets, health shops, and pharmaceutical and personal care providers all within walking distance of the McCarthy & Stone development. There is also a WH Smith, Home Bargains, Boots The Chemist, Barclays and NatWest banks. Aldridge has variety of lovely cafes, takeaway places, international restaurants and bars to suit any occasion.
