Sandridge PlaceBarratt Homes is launching its Sandridge Place development in Melksham on Saturday 14 July, giving Wiltshire house-hunters in Wiltshire the first chance to see the range of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes it is releasing there.

Among the first homes for sale at the development includes the two-bedroom ‘Roseberry’ priced from £219,995, the three-bedroom ‘Folkestone’ priced from £257,995, and the four-bedroom ‘Kingsley’ design, priced from £294,995. “Sandridge Place is creating a great deal of interest here in this highly sought-after location,” says sales director, Andrea Pilgrim. “With the development beginning to take shape, we’ve noticed a steep increase in demand for our new two-, three- and four-bedroom homes. We’re really looking forward to opening the doors to visitors on Saturday July 14 and offering them the chance to see what Sandridge Place has to offer.”

'Early Bird' opportunity at Norfolk development

There’s a chance for keen purchasers in north Norfolk to nab the property they want at the Dewside development in King’s Lynn, with developer Lovell now letting ‘Early Bird’ buyers reserve the plot they want ahead of the unveiling of a marketing suite, view home and two show houses in September.

The development, located off Greenpark Avenue in the north of the town, will be bringing two-, three- and four-bedroom homes with a range of build options to those who reserve at the construction stage of building. It is the result of a partnership between Lovell and the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk, following previous releases Orchard Place and Nar Valley Park.

“As with our previous developments in King’s Lynn, we’re seeing a tremendous response from local homebuyers during the lead-up to the official launch of our Dewside scheme,” says Lovell regional sales manager Adrian Garrood. “We’ve already received a large number of enquiries from buyers keen to ensure they are first in line once properties are formally released for sale. We’d strongly urge anyone interested in staking their claim on one of these desirable properties to speak to us now to avoid missing out. Reserving your home early means you will have more input into the design and colour choices of your home.

The historic town of King’s Lynn has impressive shops, schools and leisure facilities and is set on the River Great Ouse, close to nature reserve at The Wash and the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It’s about an hour’s drive to the city of Norwich and there is a direct rail service to London taking around one hour 40 minutes.

New show homes to open in Berkshire

Buckler's ParkNo fewer than four show homes are being unveiled by ambitious housebuilder Legal & General Homes at its latest development, Buckler’s Park in Crowthorne, Berkshire, which will be open to the public from Saturday 14 July.

These properties – from two- to four-bedroom options – have been professionally decorated throughout, two by Andrew Henry Interiors and two by Alexander James Interior Design. The development provides a range of ten house types to suit a range of homebuyers, with this first phase Woodland Edge offering eight of them. Prices start at £245,000

“People really worry about getting it wrong. To help, my team has created four colour palettes that still give buyers the opportunity to make their home truly individual, starting from an underlying design which has been created by people whose passion is working with colour and making colour work in the home,” says interior design director Andrew Henry. John Allan, managing director at Legal & General Homes, adds: “We’ve had a fantastic response to Buckler’s Park since we launched in January and are anticipating huge interest once the public has a chance to see the homes in person. We can’t wait to welcome prospective buyers through our doors and show them the real product and help find the perfect home for them.”

These homes sit alongside Buckler’s Country Park, a new 100-acre space with woods, ponds and pathways. Alongside around 1,000 new homes, the development will bring a range of news shops, together with a community centre, care home, tennis courts, allotments and a new site for a local primary school. Crowthorne railway station is only a five-minute drive away, with a journey time of London Paddington of less than an hour, making it ideal for both locals and commuters.
