New House Types At Milton Keynes Development

Posted 15 January 2021 by Keith Osborne

Crest Nicholson continues work on its popular Morton Park scheme in Wavendon with the introduction of some new home styles...

Award-winning developer Crest Nicholson has launched a selection of brand new house types at its Morton Park development in Wavendon, Milton Keynes.

The new homes in the popular village of Wavendon will comprise a contemporary collection of three-, four- and five-bedroom homes, designed to appeal to first time buyers, families and downsizers alike.

The new house types complement the local environment using traditional materials to blend in with the picturesque village. All homes are set across two storeys, featuring flexible layouts, for modern-day lifestyles, and have been thoughtfully designed with contemporary interiors, integrated appliances and high-quality fixtures and fittings throughout.

The house types boast bright, open-plan living and dining areas, with generously sized bedrooms and ample space for a study, to suit those working from home. All homes also come with a garage and two parking spaces.

David Hnyda, sales and marketing director at Crest Nicholson Chiltern, said: “As we spend more time at home, gardens, open green areas, and flexible spaces suitable for working have become a top priority for purchasers. At Crest Nicholson we are constantly reviewing our design process to suit the changing needs of our customers, and we’re sure that these new house types will prove popular at our contemporary development in Wavendon. With completions expected to take place from Summer 2021, the new homes at Morton Park are the perfect opportunity for homebuyers to join an already thriving community.”

Morton Park is ideal for those that enjoy the calm of the countryside as well as the excitement of the city, thanks to its village lifestyle and access to plenty of open green space, as well as its excellent transport connections. Residents can reach Milton Keynes in ten minutes by car, including Milton Keynes Central train station, which offers trains to London in just 35 minutes. In addition, the A421 is just moments away, providing easy access to the M1, with links to London, Northampton and beyond.

Wavendon village has a number of facilities including an enchanting 13th-century church, a cosy pub, and The Stables, a popular live music venue which sees around 300 concerts a year. Nearby shopping facilities include Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and the MK1 Shopping and Leisure Park, and there are plenty of local leisure activities available such as David Lloyd facilities, and Xscape – the UK’s leading centre for indoor skiing and snowboarding. In addition, the local area has a number of excellent local primary and secondary schools, including Aspley Guise Lower School and Middleton Primary School, both rated “Outstanding” by Ofsted.

Three-bedroom homes at Morton Park start from £384,950, four-bedroom homes from £414,950 and five-bedroom homes from £649,950. A selection of the homes will be available to purchase using the government backed Help to Buy: Equity Loan Scheme.
