Tech And Design Not Compromised On New Country Homes

Posted 15 June 2020 by Keith Osborne

Moving from the city to a new home in the countryside won't mean missing out on smart technology and design detail...

Lockdown has seen more and more people looking to move home from London to somewhere more rural, and developer Legal & General Homes is keen to point out that a new build property in the countryside doesn’t compromise on smart technology and design detail.

The housebuilder’s developments in Berkshire – Finchwood Park near Finchampsead and Buckler's Park in Crowthorne – offer buyers ‘the best of both worlds’ to London buyers wanting green surroundings and more living space.

  • High-speed, fibre broadband is cabled directly into each house from day one.
  • Features like separate studies and above-average ceiling heights also mean pleasant working environments.
  • Other high-specification fixtures and fittings included in the sale price are Bosch kitchen appliances, a Hive smart heating system, Amtico flooring, Minoli tiles, Roca sanitaryware and all carpets and landscaping throughout.
  • As well as communal green space and woodland, homes at both developments feature balconies, terraces and/or spacious gardens.
  • Direct trains into London take less than an hour from Bracknell and Wokingham – making easy commutes for days in the office or socialising.
  • Help to Buy, Part Exchange and Assisted Move are available at both developments, as well as Stamp Duty Incentives on selected properties.
  • Virtual tours on selected properties mean buyers can continue their search from their own homes during lockdown.
