Show home room by room - The Buckingham, Bertone Manor
David Wilson Homes has enlisted the help of one of its top interior designers to design one of the latest show homes at its Bertone Manor development in Barton Seagrave, Northamptonshire.
The five-bedroom Buckingham style home, which opened to the public recently, has been designed with luxurious and bold colours that makes it warm and inviting from the moment you step through the door. Featuring an open-plan kitchen and living space with French doors that lead out to the garden, the Buckingham has a stunning separate dining room also with French doors leading to the garden to increase entertaining and family living options in fine weather.
A lounge and study complete the ground floor. The master bedroom with en suite, dressing area and wardrobes is joined by two further double bedrooms and a bathroom. The second floor has two double bedrooms and a dual-access bathroom as well as a games room.
Jackie Day, sales director of David Wilson Homes South Midlands, says: “Our brand new show homes at Bertone Manor provide excellent visual tools to illustrate to buyers how that blank canvas can be shaped into their perfect home. “With a distinctive theme throughout each, buyers can pick up inspiration and tips to help them get the most out of their new home.”
Once inside, potential homebuyers are met with the upmost style and quality and the interior design allows them to visualise what their new home could look like once they’ve moved in.
Kate Letteriello, managing director at Artspace Interior Design, who created the show pieces, says: “The Buckingham is a luxurious home that is a cut above the rest and provides a wealth of living space perfect for large families. In this show home, we have used an irresistible combination of greys and blues with accents of mustard that creates the perfect canvas for modern family living. Gold accessories and glass furniture adds glamour to the scheme whilst the use of black and white accessories, upholstery and artwork balances out the bold colours.”
The Buckingham has a classic-contemporary theme throughout, and the use of orchids and various faux plants really softens the rooms and brings the house to life.
"The lounge has a large and striking hand painting that is accentuated by the gold cushions on the sofa underneath."
Open plan kitchen: “The kitchen really shows off the homes potential as it has cosy seating as well as a large table that the family can all be around, showing buyers how they can utilize the space in their home."
Bedrooms: "Plush soft furnishings with unique pieces of furniture and lighting make the master bedroom an enticing place to relax and unwind. The girls bedroom is a carnival extravaganza with a multi velvet shade pendant, hand painted stripes on the ceiling and mustard yellow merry-go-round themed wallpaper. The teenager’s room is decorated with yellow and grey geometric wallpaper, and furnished with industrial style furniture including a desk, locker bedside tables and a storage box." ”
