As it nears completion, the final phase of new apartments has been launched at The Schoolyard, a development located in the heart of Wandsworth in south London.
With construction of Francis House nearly finished, it means buyers of these final new homes will be able to move into their properties this year.
The development, from WhatHouse? Housing Association of the Year L&Q, comprises over 100 homes in all, with a mix of 29 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments for private ownership in Francis House. The final properties start from £475,000.
Each home includes stylish, custom-built kitchens with a range of Zanussi and Electrolux appliances, underfloor heating, built-in wardrobes and a secure video entry system. Residents can enjoy landscaped gardens which offer a tranquil escape from the bustle of the city outside.
Cathy Lloyd, sales director at L&Q, says: “We're immensely proud of The Schoolyard development in Wandsworth and look forward to welcoming buyers to the final phase. Local buyers have contributed to over 50% of sales at The Schoolyard thus far so we are thrilled to be able to offer additional homes within Francis house. The properties at The Schoolyard have provided much needed new build homes and with some resident's moving in now; it is already becoming a thriving community.”
The Schoolyard is situated just moments from Wandsworth Town railway station, itself just a few minutes from Waterloo, and Wandsworth is well connected on the bus network too, providing easy, direct travel to many destinations around the capital. Wandsworth is well provided with shops, places to eat and drink, and entertainment, and is close to the Thames riverfront and the transport hub of Clapham Junction.
