Barratt Homes is showcasing the very latest in home design following the launch of its brand new development in Whitchurch, near Bristol.

The housebuilder described the launch weekend as "a tremendous success" with potential buyers impressed with the selection of two-, three-, four-, and five-bedroom homes on offer.

Barratt sales director Andrea Pilgrim said: "Homes at the new development have been created to provide the styles of modern living that buyers are searching for in a new home. The variety of homes on offer meet the needs of a wide range of buyers from those looking for their first home through to professional couples and growing families."

The show home now open is the five-bedroom Warwick, a three-storey detached home. The ground floor boasts a spacious lounge with French doors to the garden and there is a separate dining room and kitchen with utility room.

The first floor features two bedrooms with ensuite facilities together with a further bedroom and a family bathroom. The final two bedrooms and a shower room are on the top floor.

A total of 47 homes are being built at the development and key features include traditional looking exteriors to complement the surroundings together with modern and airy interiors and flexible layouts.

Energy conservation is also high on the agenda, with the homes designed to be as energy efficient as possible and offering huge energy cost savings over older homes.
