Bellway Homes unveils showhomes at Winchburgh Village

Posted 26 August 2014

Housebuilder Bellway Homes will launch two showhomes at its development in Winchburgh Village, near Edinburgh, on 30 August 2014.

The development of 111 new homes is part of a major regeneration project and the first homes are scheduled for completion this October.

Prices currently range from £219,995 to £324,995, and buyers can choose from a mixture of three, four and five-bedroom semi-detached and detached properties.

The new showhomes are the three-bedroom detached Rosedale and the spacious four-bedroom detached Birkdale. The Rosedale features an integral single garage, downstairs toilet and en suite in the master bedroom, whilst the Birkdale comes with an integral double garage, spacious dining kitchen, utility room and en-suites in two of the bedrooms.

Plans for the £1billion regeneration project in the West Lothian village of Winchburgh, set over 347 hectares, include 3,000 new homes in total, as well as retail outlets, primary and secondary schools, medical and leisure facilities.

The project is dedicated to preserving the traditional character, heritage and wildlife of the West Lothian village that features an ancient church and fifteenth century castle at its heart. The picturesque rural surroundings of the village, which include the nearby Niddry Castle Golf Club, will have numerous walkways, cycle paths and green open spaces for residents to enjoy.

Approximately 10 miles west of Edinburgh, Winchburgh Village's unrivalled location provides commuters with easy access to the Edinburgh City Bypass, M8, M9 and Forth Road Bridge. Plans are also in place for a new railway station, a new junction connected to the M9 and a new park and ride facility with a network of bus routes.

Fraser Conn, sales and marketing director at Bellway Homes, says: ""We've had a fantastic response to our development at Winchburgh Village, with a number of plots already reserved. The development is ideal for both small and large families looking for a spacious, high specification, home that allows them to enjoy village life, yet be close to Edinburgh".

Prospective buyers at Winchburgh Village can benefit from Bellway Homes' free and exclusive Express Mover scheme, which sees the developer work with independent local agents to help sell a buyer's existing house.
