Like most villages, the local primary school, St Swithun’s CofE Primary, is at the heart of the community. Rated ‘good’ across the board by Ofsted, this is a popular school within walking distance of the development. Younger pupils can also find independent education close by, with Chandlings Manor Prep offering places for boys and girls aged 2-11. The school received a glowing report recently from the Independent Schools Inspector.
Older pupils will be able to catch a bus to Matthew Arnold School, which lies to the south west of Oxford, or to Oxford Academy in nearby Littlemore. Both schools were rated ‘good’ by Ofsted. Radley School, just south of the development, offers an independent alternative for boys of all ages on a boarding basis.
For undergrads, Oxford is world famous for its 38 historic colleges, and is also home to Oxford Brookes University and City of Oxford College.

Kennington has a vibrant village life, with a huge choice of clubs and societies to choose from for young and old. Nearby Radley College opens its excellent sports facilities for public use.
