Education

Coalville has a good selection of both big name and independent shops in the town centre, in and around the Belvoir Retail and Leisure Quarter. Whitwick Retail Park, can also be found to the north of the town. Nearby Leicester has a choice of major shopping centres, including Highcross and Haymarket, while the unrivalled retail therapy of Birmingham’s Bull Ring is just a short drive away. Coalville has a small market next to the Belvoir Shopping Centre, while Loughborough market fills the town centre every Thursday and Saturday.

Transport

Coalville is centrally placed for a number of major East Midlands towns and cities, with swift access provided via junction 22 of the M1 just 2.5miles away. Ashby de la Zouch is 6miles away along with J13 of the A42(M), Loughborough is 10miles, Leicester is 12miles, Burton upon Trent is 15miles, Derby and Nottingham are around 25miles and Birmingham is 34miles. There are regular bus services from Arriva Midlands linking Coalville to all of these places and more.
The East Coast Mainline can be accessed at Loughborough Station or East Midlands Parkway, with regular services to London, Edinburgh and all points in between. The nearest airports are East Midlands, just 14miles via the M1 and Birmingham International, which is around 33miles.
