Transport

The North West of England has an excellent motorway system and from Sycamore Manor you can access all of it with ease. Junction 8 of the M61 and junction 28 of the M6, are both just a few minutes’ drive away, offering quick connections across the region as well as links to the M65 to Blackburn and the East.
Blackburn is around nine miles, Preston ten miles, Manchester 25miles and Liverpool 35miles, all accessible by motorway all the way. Closer to home, Chorley is just over two miles away, with Leyland around four miles.
Trains from Buckshaw Parkway Station, around two miles away, speed you to Preston in just over ten minutes, Manchester in three quarters of an hour and Liverpool, via Leyland, in an hour and ten minutes.
