About the Development

We are planning up to 950 new homes in total at Ebbsfleet Green which will be released in a number of phases. These will be a mix of one and two bed apartments and three, four and five bedroom houses for private sale. There will also be affordable housing available for rent and shared ownership. This second phase of 118 new properties are currently under construction with further properties scheduled for release over the coming months

Amenities

The development will have its own local shop for your day to day essentials, and there are Sainsbury’s, Asda and Morrisons supermarkets all within easy reach in Gravesend.

As the Ebbsfleet Valley development progresses, there will be a dedicated medical centre with full facilities. Meanwhile, both GPs and Dentists can be found nearby at Swanscombe Health Centre. Call 01322 427 477 for GPs and 01322 422 790 for dentists.

Dining

Diners have the choice of heading into Gravesend, or heading to Bluewater to satisfy their appetite. Gravesend has a wide selection of restaurants to satisfy every taste and budget, from Caesars, Il Padrino and Divizia Italian restaurants to Kohinoor Spice, Shapla and Rasoi Ghar Indian cuisine. The Three Daws gastro pub also comes highly recommended.

At Bluewater, you’ll find a choice of over 40 cafes and restaurants, with all your favourite big chain names, from TGI Fridays to Harry Ramsden’s, Yo! Sushi to Nando’s.

Education

Education is always at the heart of any new Redrow development, but at Ebbsfleet Green we’re going one further by building our own dedicated primary school for the development. As Ebbsfleet Valley expands, there will also be a huge education campus, including primary and secondary schools, with a host of excellent facilities.

Gad's Hill is a leading independent day school for boys and girls aged 3-16 years, based in the former home of Charles Dickens, just off the M2, in Higham between Gravesend and Rochester.

An alternative primary school can be found nearby at Manor Community Primary in Swanscombe, while older pupils can attend Ebbsfleet Academy until the high school on the education campus is complete.

Leisure

There will be plenty to do within the local community at Ebbsfleet Green, with numerous clubs ad societies centred around the Community Hall and sports pitches. Nearby Gravesend has a choice of the Cygnet and Cascades leisure centres, both with a pool and extensive sports facilities. Gravesend also has a 10-pin bowling alley and is home to the Woodville Theatre. Golfers are spoiled for choice, with Mid Kent, Southern Valley, Fankham Valley Rochester & Cobham park golf courses all within easy driving distance.

The famous Bluewater Valley has plenty to offer for your leisure time, with everything from a 13 screen multiplex cinema, complete with iMax screen, to the climbing walls of the Big Blue Rock. There is even a Molton Brown Spa for Mum to relax while the kids burn off their energy.

Shopping

When it comes to shopping, you couldn’t ask for more than the Bluewater Shopping Centre. People travel from far and wide to shop here, but as a resident of Ebbsfleet Green it will be right on your doorstep. Bluewater has over 330 shops, anchored by flagship John Lewis, Marks & Spencer and House of Fraser stores, creating the ultimate shopping and leisure experience. And with over 13,000 spaces, you’ll always find somewhere to park!

Transport

Ebbsfleet Green couldn’t be better placed for commuting, with Central London under 20 minutes away by train from nearby Ebbsfleet International, with five trains direct to Kings Cross / St Pancras every hour at peak times. There are also direct services to Paris in just over two hours, and Brussels in around an hour and forty minutes.

Ebbsfleet Green lies close to the A2, and is just minutes from the M25 and the Dartford Crossing. London is around 20 miles away, with Maidstone 17 miles, Rochester 9 miles, Dartford 5 miles and Gravesend 3 miles. London City Airport can be reached in just 20 miles, with Gatwick 37 miles and Stanstead 40 miles, both within easy reach.
