There is a huge choice in the heart of Waterlooville, with the choice along the pedestrianised section of London Road stretching from Dominos Pizza at one end, to Jade Garden Chinese at the other, via Massalla Hut, Istanbul Grill and Subway along the way. Other highlights in the town include O Sole Mio, Pasha, Spice Box, Winnies and Shalimar Tandoori. There is also a good selection of friendly gastro pubs in the surrounding country villages.

For a dining experience with a difference, head for Port Solent, where you can choose from a selection of different restaurants, all overlooking the marina.
Naturally, Portsmouth has an even wide choice of restaurants and eateries, with something for every taste and budget.

The brand new Berewood Primary School has been built to serve the expanding development to the west of Waterlooville, including Elm Green. It lies within walking distance so you can leave the car at home for the school run and enjoy a health walk with the kids. Waterlooville also has a good choice for secondary education within the town, with Horndean Technical College, Cowplain Community School, Oaklands Catholic School, Purbrook Park and Crookhorn College.

With a multi-million pound redevelopment in the pipeline, bringing a new cinema and bowling alley to the town, Waterlooville has plenty to offer for your family leisure time – and it will all be right on your doorstep at Elm Green.
Venture a little further to Portsmouth and you’ll find a choice of cinemas and theatres, including the Guildhall, the historic Kings Theatre and the New Theatre Royal.

Waterlooville is great for sports too, with a great range of facilities including the Horizon Leisure Centre, Waterlooville Golf Course and Denmead Driving Range. For a little fresh air and exercise, head for Queens Enclosure – one of the last remaining enclaves of the once extensive Forest of Bere – or head for Staunton Country Park or the wide open spaces of the South Downs.

Elm Green lies within walking distance of Waterlooville town centre with its wide range of High Street shops and friendly local independents. There is also a market in the town every Friday. The heart of the town is the pedestrianised London Road shopping area, with Hambledon Road Retail Park also close by.

Head into the city and you’ll find a huge choice of shopping styles, from the city centre malls of Gunwharf Quays and Cascades Shopping Centre, to the Victory and Ocean Retail Parks.
