Wells is perfectly placed for getting around the county of Somerset. It's located on the A39 which takes south to the popular town of Glastonbury and continues to join up with the M5 Motorway. Head 45 minutes North East from Wells on the A39 to reach the historic city of Bath with its many attractions and stunning architecture. Bristol airport can be reached in 40 minutes by car, with flights departing to a wide variety of European destinations and further afield including America. The city has a number of good bus connections with services running to Bristol, Bath, Weston-Super-Mare, Shepton Mallet and Glastonbury. A National Express coach connects Wells with London Victoria, and also stops at London Heathrow.
