Castle Green is lucky to have several primary schools in the surrounding area, including Shotton Primary, Shotton Hill Primary, Thornley Primary and Wheatley Hill Primary, all of which are rated 'Good' by Ofsted. Older children can benefit from The Academy at Shotton Hall, an Ofsted 'Outstanding' senior school from 11-16 year olds in nearby Peterlee. Transport
