About Avonbank Lodge

Located in the heart of Newbury, Avonbank Lodge is a development of 59 one and two bedroom apartments. Our Welcome Centre is currently open by appointment for you to view apartment information and make a reservation off plan.

Currently under construction the apartments are scheduled to be ready to move into during the Summer of 2017. Avonbank Lodge includes an Owners’ Lounge, a Guest Suite, a lift to all floors, landscaped gardens and car parking.

Our developments have been designed to make life easier for those in their retirement years.

There’s a winning combination of design and safety in both the kitchen and bathroom. Tiled and colour co-ordinated, it is specifically designed to give you convenience and peace of mind.

Kitchens are modern and pleasing to the eye with colour co-ordinated worktops with built in fridge and freezer. The oven is located at just the right height to save you bending down and there’s a separate ceramic hob and hood.

Selected apartments with en-suites have baths with a shower over, whilst other apartments have a shower room, all tastefully designed with our Customers’ needs in mind.

All apartments are inspected by our Customer Services Department to ensure they are handed over to the standard of finish and quality expected by our Customers.

Even the smallest detail is considered and typically our developments have the following general specification:

Car Parking

There is no charge for parking but spaces are limited in our retirement developments and available on a 'first come, first served' basis. Visitors should only park if there are specially allocated visitors' spaces. If none are available then visitors may only pick up or drop off Owners and must park off site.

Guest Suite

A Guest Suite is provided for visiting relatives or friends and a charge is made for its use. Reservations are arranged via your Lodge Manager. Priority may be given to a visitor helping a sick Owner.

Owners' Lounge

The Owners' Lounge is for the use of all Owners as a casual meeting place or for an organised event. It is also available for private hire by Owners, on payment of a fee which is placed in the Lodge / Development's trust account. Advance notice must be given to the Lodge Manager in order to make a booking.

Landscape Gardens

Each development is individually designed to blend comfortably with neighbouring properties. A great deal of importance is placed on the communal gardens, providing a welcome retreat for you, your family and friends.
