Horsham also hosts weekly markets at Bishopric on Thursdays and Market Square and Carfax on Saturdays.

Families with children will be pleased to know the standard of local education is fantastic. The village has a secondary school and a sixth form college, known together as The Weald School which is rated Ofsted -Outstanding'. There's also a selection of Ofsted -Good' primary schools in Billingshurst along with excellent nursery schools. The wider area of West Sussex also offers some of the finest public and independent schools in the UK.

The Weald School is also the location of the town's leisure centre which boasts a swimming pool, well-equipped gym and a range of fitness classes. Jubilee Fields is also a popular place to keep fit with its football pitches, two cricket pitches and an exercise -trim trail' path. For those who enjoy the more relaxing pastime of fishing, there's also a well-stocked lake.
