The Spires development is located in the town of St Ives, Cambridgeshire. To travel from the North you can follow the A1(M) or from the South, the M11. Shopping
St Ives town centre offers a good selection of high street and independent stores and has recently opened a new shopping centre. You will be spoilt for choice on where to eat throughout the town with traditional pubs, cafes and restaurants. If you are looking for a wider selection of shops then Cambridge will be worth a visit as it is home to 3 Shopping Centres; the Grande Arcade, The Grafton Centre and the Lion Yard.

Leisure
At St Ives there are plenty of historical sites to explore, including the 15th Century Bridge and Chapel located over the Great River Ouse, and the Norris Museum. If you are looking for livelier entertainment then head slightly further afield to the hustle and bustle of the city of Cambridge. Here you and your family will be able to enjoy a great choice of museums, theatres, country parks and family favourites, including tenpin bowling and the cinema.

Education
Living at The Spires you won't be far from a selection of education facilities. You are within walking distance to a number of schools including St Ivo School, a secondary school just 10 minutes away. You will also be around 10 minutes walk to Wheatfields Primary School and Westfield Junior School.

Transport
The Spires is situated in a great commuting location being just minutes away from the A14, A428 and the A1. It is a great area for both business savvy commuters, young couples and families. St Ives has a very good bus service which runs through the town itself and also to nearby towns and cities. The local area also offers a Park & Ride service which allows passengers to reach Cambridge in around 30 minutes. Huntingdon train station is 6 miles away from your home. The direct train to Central London arrives in just under an hour.

Health
You will have peace of mind knowing that you can walk to your nearest health amenities. Spinney Surgery is just a 4 minute walk from your home and Northcote House Suregery is slightly further, just 10 minutes away. You can walk to The Old Grammar School Dental Surgery, which will take you around 12 minutes and finally there is a Lloyds Pharmacy just round the corner.
