Top of the Props: Our pick of the best new homes for sale in Warwickshire

There is currently a good range of new homes for sale across the whole of Warwickshire, from urban developments to boutique rural properties, but at least one local agent feels that there is an under-supply of homes on the market that would give people the ability to move into one.

Terry Robinson, sales director at Reeds Rains estate agents in Leamington, recently told the Kenilworth Weekly News that he believes that now is a good time to sell. “I have seen so many changes in the market over the last 14 years of covering the Warwickshire area but I have noticed more changes happening recently than at any time before,” he said.

“Stamp duty has been cut, which has provided us with a massively increased number of active buyers, and this has enabled us to sell properties quicker than ever before. However, whilst the industry averages would suggest an estate agent should have around 40% of their total stock sold, we currently have 65 per cent of our stock sold and are in urgent need of more properties to sell.”

His agency is offering sellers a special discount if they appoint the agency during April.

In the long term, over 23,000 homes are planned for construction in Coventry and Warwickshire over the next 20 years as part of a plan to make it a “top ten city”. The plans are controversial, however, as some of these new homes will encroach on currently protected green belt land

Bellway Homes – Arden Heights, Coleshill

Arden Heights is a collection of two-, four- and five-bedroom homes in the historic market town of Coleshill. The town offers a host of charming local amenities with the nearby High Street lined with interesting retailers, welcoming coaching inns and restaurants.
