Scottish property round-up – all the latest on Scotland’s new homes

We turn our attention north of the border and ask Anne McDonald to take a look at some of the latest new homes launches and announcements across Scotland.

In Aberdeen, luxury housebuilder Kirkwood Homes has launched a new development in Potterton, north of Aberdeen. Gourdie Park comprises 15 luxury three- and four-bedroom detached homes. Properties at Gourdie Park start from £305,000. Kirkwood has also opened a show home at Clyans Wood, Monymusk, prices there from £339,995.

Mactaggart & Mickel Homes report record interest in their new Mure Park development in Uplawmoor, East Renfrewshire, ahead of its first release in March. Miller Homes is offering three- and four-bedroom homes at Gala Meadow to suit every budget. Taylor Wimpey is offering 100% part exchange on selected new homes at Seton Park in Winchburgh Village, a new development of 153 homes offering two-, three-, four- and five- bedroom properties. At Arniston Vale in Gorebridge Taylor Wimpey has launched two new four-bedroom show homes –the ‘Maxwell’ and ‘Monro’. Arniston Vale offers a choice of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes with prices from £157,000 for a three-bedroom mid-terrace. Homebuyer incentives are available. 01875 440143. 

Whiteburn Projects has revealed visuals for the two- and three-bedroom mews homes at its Parkview development in Dundee. A mix of 45 mews houses and apartments, prices for  mews homes start from £230,000, and for apartments from £147,950. 01382 200 099

To celebrate the Valentine’s Day opening of a show flat at Cruden Homes’ Evolution development in  Edinburgh, the developer is offering £500 of hotel vouchers for a romantic break for reservations there  on 14 February. Apartments at Evolution are available from  £146,000. 07961 310974

Cruden Homes has also made some new friends when they provided Newtongrange Scout Group with free insulation for their Scout Hall. Located close to Cruden’s Wester Lea development, the homebuilders were happy to help the Scouts as part of their policy of supporting local communities.
