WhatHouse? takes a look at this impressive show home in West London and finds out some of the style details room by room...

Heritage Walk is a new development of luxury apartments by award-winning developer St James in Brentford, west London. 74 stunning properties, including suites and one-, two- or three-bedroom apartments, are set within beautifully landscaped gardens located just a few minutes’ walk from the River Thames.

The Heritage Walk show apartment was designed by The London Furnishing Company with a contemporary London style offering both UK and international appeal. There are many subtle references taken from the surrounding area of the development that include Kew Gardens Royal Botanical Gardens and the Grade II Listed Steam Museum.

The overall design inspiration for the apartment was taken from the unique ‘Sackler Crossing’ bridge in Kew Gardens, made from a spare but exemplary material palette of granite and bronze. At night the bridge lighting creates warm reflections on the water and turns the grey granite into a deep midnight blue. All of these colours were used to form the main palette throughout the apartment with accents of metal finishes to give reference to the industrial interior of the Steam museum. Overall the design combines modern open-plan living with the luxury of London style and design.
This unique development unites contemporary living space with a heritage setting. Adjacent to St James’s Kew Bridge West, the development incorporates courtyard gardens on elevated terraces and benefits from a concierge, residents’ gym and gated undercroft parking.Contemporary living space
Enjoying the high specification finish that is synonymous with St James, each apartment enjoys its own private balcony, contemporary designer kitchen, hotel-style bathrooms and underfloor heating, providing desirable accommodation fit for the most discerning of purchasers. Many apartments enjoy a tranquil and relaxing outlook over the courtyard gardens.Contemporary designer kitchen

Located and within easy reach of Central London, Heritage Walk offers London village living with access to world class parks and open spaces. Local stations include Gunnersbury (District Line and Overground) and Kew Bridge Rail Station (Overground), with regular trains running to London Waterloo in under 30 minutes. Heritage Walk residents will also benefit from easy access to the historic Thames Path, which is the perfect setting for a leisurely stroll in the evening.
