New homes launched at The Coppice in Deeping St James

With demand for homes at The Coppice in Deeping St James, situated between Peterborough, Stamford and Spalding, proving high, residential property developer Larkfleet Homes has decided that the time is now right to launch the third phase of the development, which comprises nine two-, three- and four-bedroom properties.

The Coppice, which successfully released and sold a total of 44 properties during the first two phases of the development, is proving popular with a wide range of purchasers, including first-time buyers. In fact, a proportion of the new properties released in phase three have already been reserved off-plan, thanks in part to the Help to Buy scheme.

The government's Help to Buy scheme, which allows homebuyers to potentially own 100% of their new home with just a 75% mortgage and 5% deposit, is available on homes at The Coppice, including the phase three properties recently released.

Homebuyers using Help to Buy receive an equity loan from the government for the 20% of the property value not covered by their deposit and mortgage. The equity loan is interest-free for five years and can be repaid at any time or on the sale of the home.

Each new-build property at The Coppice feature solar photovoltatic (PV) panels so that homebuyers can benefit from reduced energy bills. The PV panels will produce electricity from daylight, generating useable power even on cloudy days.

Karl Hick, CEO of Larkfleet, says: "The addition of these properties to The Coppice development will provide quality homes that are also energy-efficient, meeting the demand for housing in the local area. Deeping St James is an extremely sought-after location and the popularity of the development has demonstrated this. I would urge any first-time buyers looking for that first step on to the housing ladder to visit our sales office at The Coppice - they may find they could own their own home for less than they expect."
