Richmond Villages unveils its newest show home this Saturday 23 April at a special open Day event at Richmond Aston-on-Trent, its development to the south-east of Derby.

The new apartment will give potential buyers a chance not only to see a full furnished property, but to take a thorough look at the lifestyle on offer at the Derbyshire scheme. Already, 80% of the 125 privately owned new retirement properties have been reserved. Construction at the village is well under way, with the first residents due to move in this autumn.

Visitors will be able to meet the Richmond Villages team, led by senior village advisor Alison Harding, to find out what accommodation is available and take a look at the floor plans.

“We want to give people a real flavour for what living at a Richmond village is like, and ensure they get the information they need on all aspects of Richmond retirement living,” says Paddy Brice, managing director of Richmond Villages. “We are delighted with the interest shown in this development and with 80% of the village apartments already sold off-plan, [this] demonstrates the demand for this type of high-quality retirement accommodation.

“The main village centre building, which includes the village suites and care home plus all the communal facilities such as restaurant, bar and wellness spa, will be completed by Spring 2017.”

Suites start at £185,000 and apartments from £280,000.The apartments and available to people 55 and over and have one or two bedrooms with the master bedroom en suite, together with a fully fitted kitchen and integrated appliances, a bathroom/wet room, an allocated parking space, emergency 24-hour call system to the on-site support team, and wellness spa membership.

Tailored care is available to every resident at the £35m scheme from the Richmond Villages domiciliary care team, who are on-site 24-hours a day. An additional care home is also on site, right at the heart of the village, with services in nursing and dementia care.
