First home purchase is a smooth move for Merseyside buyer

While purchasing a new home is usually thought of as a stressful and long process, Emma Ryan, a quantity surveyor from Billinge, had a very different experience when purchasing her brand new Miller Home.

Emma had lived in Billinge for 15 years, so knew that she wanted to stay in the area, but her work involves a lot of travel around the North West so good transport links were key in the decision.

Emma decided that the Help to Buy scheme wasn’t right for her, so she attended an open weekend event in April at The Views development. Although she was saving for a deposit she didn’t think that she was in a serious buying position, but the event made her realise that wasn't the case.

Miller sales representative Jo, recommended a financial advisor who explained Emma that she was in a much better position than she thought to purchase her first home. Following this, Emma went to reserve her plot for her home and received regular updates about the building process. Emma loved the location as The Views is surrounded by peaceful country farmlands, and the development was the right size for her.

Another factor which drew Emma was the quality of the build. She says: “The show homes were amazing. I had seen a few, and the standard of the finish and quality of the Miller show homes stood out a mile in comparison to other properties and developments which I had viewed.”

Emma recommends the Miller Choices Centre because she was impressed with the options and extras available to her so she could put her individual stamp on her new home.

After reserving her home in April, the keys were handed over to Emma in August. Emma says: “The service has been second to none – nothing is ever too much trouble for the team."

The process of buying her first home could not have run smoother and Emma is now the proud owner of her three-bedroom home in The Views, Billinge in St Helens, Merseyside.
