Exclusive video interview with the developer at Greenwich Square

Posted 19 August 2013 by Keith Osborne

On a recent visit to the Greenwich Square development, quickly taking shape on a long-neglected site in southeast London, editor Keith Osborne was able to catch up with David Grover of developer Hadley Mace to talk exclusively to WhatHouse.co.uk about progress at the scheme.

Set on the site of the former Greenwich hospital, Greenwich Square is bringing hundreds of new homes to the area, including a high proportion of affordable homes that will be allocated first to people living and working in the area already who are unable to get on the property ladder on the open market.

With a number of amenities also planned for the site, such as landscaped public spaces, health facilities and a Sainsbury's, the development is seen as a vital component in the regeneration of the London Borough of Greenwich.

Hadley Mace expects the wide range of new properties to be popular with all sorts of buyers. With excellent local transport links and a convenient 11-minute commute into London Bridge from Maze Hill station, the development is bound to catch the eye of those working in Greenwich and elsewhere in the capital, with only a short journey to reach the City, West End and Docklands. There are also numerous educational establishments within easy reach of home here.

Find out what David Grover has to say about the development and the properties available on this exclusive video interview.
