Persimmon HomesPersimmon Homes was founded in 1972 and has built homes in around 380 locations around the UK. It builds around 16,000 new homes each year, and is one of the UK’s most successful housebuilders.

The company builds a huge range of homes, from one- and two-bedroom apartments, to larger three-, four- and five-bedroom properties, offering buyers plenty of choice. Each home is built with the customer in mind, from design and planning to the finishing touches. Once a property is reserved at a Persimmon Homes development, the buyer can add their own styling options, additional fixtures and updates. This could include such things as carpets, fireplaces and kitchen appliances, or even turf, paving and fencing in the garden.

In order to help buyers purchase their new home, it offers Deposit Unlock, Part Exchange and its own Home Change service on selected plots. It also offers weekly promotions, such as Home of the Week which includes savings and additional incentives.

The housebuilder looks to give back to the communities in which it is building. Not only does it create jobs, it often contributes to a range of new facilities, including funding new roads, doctors’ surgeries, schools and play areas.

It also offers a training and development initiative which helps it to develop its impressive workforce, as well as creating job opportunities.
