Situated close to the main high street in Stamford, Stukeley Court is ideally located, with a huge range of shops found locally, including Marks & Spencer, Boots, WHSmith and Metro.
Stamford itself is a small market town found on the River Welland, which stretches for over 65 miles. Part of Lincolnshire but bordering Northamptonshire, there is plenty of local history and the area was the first designated conservation area in England and Wales, boasting more than 600 listed buildings.
The town's medieval parish churches are one of their most famous features, with 17th and 18th Century stone buildings in the Jacobean and Georgian style also popular.
You'll also find The George, a 900 year old coaching inn still open today. Boasting royal guests William III in 1696 and the King of Denmark in 1768, this is a fantastic place to visit.
Similarly, the Stamford Museum is a brilliant attraction which houses the Stamford Tapestry, depicting the town's history in 20 foot of wool and embroidery which took 17 years to finish.
Stretching even further back in time, a specimen of the sauropod dinosaur was found in the area in 1968 and was dated to the Jurassic period - making it over 170 million years old!
