This retirement development of 41 one and two bedroom apartments is under construction. A Welcome Centre is now open by appointment only.
Holyshute Lodge is beautiful retirement development of 41 one and two bedroom apartments located in the historic town of Honiton. It is named after the house and cottage which formerly stood on the site, the latter reputedly being used as a road tollhouse collecting tolls for the Honiton Turnpike and Paving Trust.
Well located on the edge of the town centre the development is ideally placed for the high street which is home to a number of independent and specialist shops - butchers, bakers, delicatessen and fishmongers - selling locally produced food and a wide range of goods. Small courtyards and alleyways leading off the high street provide further compelling shopping.
Set in the heart of the beautiful East Devon countryside, Honiton has been renowned for lace, pottery and glove making for centuries, and although these time honoured crafts are no longer carried out to their former extent, Honiton has numerous specialist shops dedicated to both lace and pottery.
