The independent Malvern College is a co-educational school for 13 - 18-year-olds and Malvern St James Girls' School caters for young pupils from Pre-Prep age through to sixth form.
Buses run from Welland to Malvern, six miles away and Worcester, 15 miles. The city is easily reached via the A4104 that runs through the village to the A38. Junction 1 of the M50 is approximately eight miles away and gives direct access to the M5 for the Midlands or South West. Trains run from Great Malvern direct to London Paddington, Worcester, Oxford, Hereford and Birmingham New Street and for air travel, Birmingham International Airport is about 50 miles.
