Kate Wainwright, her partner Brian and their two children, Daisy, 9 and Harry, 2 were living at Hayfield Lawns, CALA’s previous development in Welford-on-Avon when they heard about the new homes being built at The Arbour.
Kate explains: “We were extremely happy in our home at Hayfields Lawn but with two young children, we were finding that we wanted a detached home with more space. We wanted to stay in the village and we really like new build homes because everything is all brand new and with very little spare time we didn’t want any big maintenance jobs to deal with. We then discovered that CALA Homes were building a new development of family homes, which sounded ideal, and got in touch straight away to register our interest.
“Brian works in Solihull and I am based in Stratford so the location is so convenient and with Stratford on our doorstep we are able to take advantage of the theatre and great restaurants. The school in the village is also definitely a draw for us with two young children and we know the area so well, having lived locally all our lives.
“CALA Homes arranged for us to see the show home after hours along with our new next door neighbours-to-be and we were each given a glass of prosecco as we wandered around, which was lovely. We fell in love with the show home straight away, particularly the kitchen, which is extremely high quality and so homely.”
Brian and Kate reserved the four-bedroom detached Ibsley. The home features an open-plan kitchen/breakfast and family room with French doors leading out to the garden, a spacious living room, also with French doors, a separate dining room and study on the ground floor.
