A David Wilson Home for one of its own

Posted 10 July 2017 by Helen Christie

A site manager for David Wilson Homes Mercia has put his money where his mouth is and moved onto its Coppice Meadows development...

Wayne Berry, 45, who is originally from Wolverhampton, is a project manager at the David Wilson Homes’ Baggeridge Village development in Sedgley.

Just recently, he and his wife, two daughters and their dog have recently moved into a new home at Coppice Meadows in Shifnal. With dreams of living in peaceful countryside, the family moved from their previous home in Wolverhampton.

Wayne says: “We were interested in moving to the Shifnal area as it’s a lovely place to live. We decided to take a look at Coppice Meadows and really liked the development.

“It’s very quiet with beautiful countryside surroundings but it’s also really easy to get to surrounding towns which means we get the best of both worlds.”

The Berry family have moved into a five-bedroom Emerson home. The Emerson home provides spacious living, ideal for families, and features a large, open-plan kitchen area with French doors opening out into the garden.

Wayne continues: “The layout of the Emerson was ideal for us, the kitchen is such a lovely room and has lots of light from the French doors. The second floor is especially great for Brodie as she can have her own space and bathroom, almost like a self-contained apartment.”

Wayne is has previously won a number of awards as a site and project manager with David Wilson Homes, including the coveted Pride in the Job award.

Wayne says: “I put all of my heart into the developments and the homes we build, and the team at Coppice Meadows is no different. From the first look at the development to moving in the experience was fantastic and we treat all of our customers the same.”

The Coppice Meadows development is located just a mile from the historic market town of Shifnal. The development’s location means residents can enjoy the beautiful countryside, as well as having amenities within walking distance.

Coppice Meadows currently has three-, four- and five-bedroom homes for sale, with prices starting from £260,000.
